17 Global Business operates a Wi-Fi hotspot and Internet access service in Senegal, available at https://sunuwifi.com. For any privacy question, contact us at support@sunuwifi.com.
2Information we collect
We only collect what is needed to provide the service:
- Connection data: device MAC address, IP address on our network, session start/end time, data volume used.
- Purchase data: package chosen, amount, phone number used for payment, Wave transaction reference and payment status. We never receive or store your Wave PIN or bank details.
- Account data (operators and agents): name, email address, phone number, password (stored encrypted).
- Technical data: browser type, language and basic logs needed for security and troubleshooting.
3TikTok integration
If you choose to connect your TikTok account to our service, we use the official TikTok APIs (Login Kit and related products) only with the permissions you approve on TikTok's consent screen. Depending on those permissions, we may receive:
- your TikTok basic profile information (open ID, display name, avatar);
- access tokens that allow us to perform the actions you request, such as publishing or sharing content you choose.
We use this data exclusively to provide the feature you requested. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising profiles, and do not share it with third parties except TikTok itself. Tokens are stored encrypted. You can disconnect at any time from your TikTok settings (Manage app permissions) or by contacting us; we then delete the related data within 30 days.
4How we use information
- to activate and manage your Internet access and your paid packages;
- to process and verify payments (Wave) and prevent fraud;
- to provide customer support and answer your requests;
- to keep our network secure and comply with legal obligations.
5Cookies and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your language and measure the use of our website.
Our public pages may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

7Data retention
Connection and purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet accounting and legal obligations (generally up to 12 months for connection data). Expired hotspot accounts are deleted automatically.
8Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), encrypted storage of passwords and tokens, access controls and regular monitoring to protect your information.
9Your rights
In accordance with Senegalese Law No. 2008-12 on the protection of personal data, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to support@sunuwifi.com. You may also contact the Commission de Protection des Données Personnelles (CDP) of Senegal.
10Children
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on our website.
